November 1, the Solemnity of All Saints is a Holy Day of Obligation in the dioceses of the United States. Join with us as we celebrate the Church Triumphant united with our Lord.
- 7 am: Mass without music will be celebrated at 7 am as usual.
- 7 pm: Mass with the choir. Benediction of the Most Blessed Sacrament (and Adoration) will directly follow.
November 2, the Commemoration of the Faithful Departed is NOT a holy day of obligation, but is a time that the Church asks us to remember those who have passed, particularly in the last year. Mass on this day takes on a solemn tone, and we are asked in a special way to pray for the relief of the souls in Purgatory, both on this day and throughout November.
- 7 am: Mass without music (per usual daily schedule).
- 7 pm: a special chant Mass with music.
Memorial candles can be purchased from the rectory and will burn on the altar of the Blessed Mother all through November.
